Climate4Classrooms
Climate4Classrooms
provides innovative resources
for schools in the UK and
overseas to teach, think and
talk about climate change
from national and global perspectives,
in the classroom, intercultural
exchanges and partnerships.
Through
a multi-lingual website, the
project enables teachers of
students aged 11+ to access
interactive teaching tools
based on the latest climate
change data from world-renowned
climate experts. Resources
include over 150 graphics,
student activities and case
studies on the likely impact
of climate change nationally
and globally, as well as videos
of climate experts bringing
climate science to life.
The
project aims to increase teachers’
confidence and knowledge,
enable young people aged 11+
to understand climate change
as relevant to their own lives
as local and global citizens,
and provide opportunities
for international exchange
of ideas.
Climate4Classrooms
is a pilot project in China,
Indonesia, Mexico and the
UK.
