There will be a short presentation by university staff covering information on meet and greet, induction and other university services. The presentation is designed to prepare students for their studies at the University of Southampton. It will cover an introduction to the university, information about the city of Southampton, accommodation options available, bursaries and scholarships, and practical advice on what to do and pack before arriving at the university. The presentation will be delivered by Zoe Yao, Country Development Manager from the International Office. The university’s current student representatives (Chinese Student Society members) will also be there to answer any questions about what it is like to study at the university. Refreshments will be available throughout the event. The Chinese Student Society (CSS) in the University of Southampton will organise activities in Hong Kong, including social café gatherings and an orientation camp (6 - 8 September) for the offer holders to get to know their future classmates, make new friends, and better prepare for exciting university life in Southampton.
